Add Seedance product footage to an avatar ad

Let the presenter explain the idea while the product footage shows what matters.

Before you start

  • An approved product reference image
  • A script with planned product moments
  • A paid workspace and credits or an eligible Seedance allowance

Use short clips as parts of a longer story

A short generated product shot can work well inside a complete ad. It does not need to carry the whole message. Let a continuous narration provide the structure while a few focused shots show the product, its material and its setting.

In the lamp concept, the presenter introduces the idea and product cutaways show the object in context. Each shot has a specific job. Generating more motion is useful only when the extra footage helps the viewer understand the product or supports the intended atmosphere.

Begin with a reference you can inspect

Use a product image whose shape, color and visible details are correct. The Knowledge Base product reference was created specifically for the fictional demonstration. For a real product, use an accurate reference and compare every generated frame against it before using the video in an advertisement.

An image reference guides the model; it is not a guarantee of exact product fidelity. Small labels, moving hands and complex mechanisms can be difficult to preserve. Start with a restrained camera movement and a simple scene, then expand only if the first result is useful.

Describe one shot at a time

A useful shot prompt names the product, the environment, the camera movement and what should remain stable. For example: a slow push toward the warm ivory lamp on a quiet desk, with the shade and base remaining consistent. Avoid asking one short clip to perform an entire multi-scene commercial.

Create a wide context shot, a readable product shot and a close detail when the story needs them. Keep the approved reference and visual direction consistent. The example page includes the actual prompts and settings, with the final edit, so you can compare the requested motion with the returned footage.

  1. Open Video and select the available Seedance model and reference mode.
  2. Add the approved product image and describe one focused shot.
  3. Choose supported duration, aspect ratio and resolution, then review the quote and funding source.
  4. Generate one clip and inspect product consistency before making additional variations.
  5. Bring approved clips into the Editor under the relevant lines of narration.

Understand the paid-plan Seedance bonus

Eligible paid plans include a Seedance generation bonus. The plans and credits article explains how to check the current allowance. A bonus applies only to the eligible model and settings shown in the app; it is separate from Talking Head credits and is not unlimited video creation.

Before submitting a run, check whether the app is using the eligible allowance or your workspace credits. Availability and terms can change, so use the quote and plan details at the time you create. If your expected bonus is missing, check the selected workspace and its plan before submitting the run.

Judge the assembled ad, not just the nicest shot

Place each product clip where it supports the sentence being spoken. Keep the narration continuous and check that the product does not visibly change between shots. If a generated shot introduces a false detail, replace it even if the motion looks impressive.

Seedance is the supporting-footage step in this Knowledge Base workflow. The custom face and spoken presentation come from Talking Head, and the complete ad comes from the Editor. Keeping those roles clear makes it easier to plan the work, estimate the quote and decide which part to revise.
